Paper Batteries

Nano technology has been used to make paper batteries which are small in size and flexible. These batteries are said to be highly integrated making them very energy efficient. Postage-stamp size paper batteries can produce 2.3 V, which is quite enough for most low-power component’s input voltage requirements. Although there is talk about using this new technology in applications such as powering cars, I believe that the nearest and most advantages area to apply the technology would be in small durable and energy efficient electronic devices. This is exciting technology for mobile embedded systems, assuming that the batteries have a long shelf life and are reasonably tolerable to different temperatures.
