Low Power RF Seminar

Texas Instruments is offering a day long seminar focused on RF Design. The topics that will be covered include Low Power RF Portfolio, RF Basics and World Wide Frequency Allocations, RF System Design, Optimizing Power in Low-Power RF Designs, Using the MSP430 with Low-Power RF Devices and lastly Zigbee Design Processes and Considerations. Based on past experiences with TI’s seminars, and the topic list, I think that this seminar will be great for someone that does not have too much experience in the RF design and is looking for a quick introduction. Moreover, it should be helpful for someone that is already working with TI’s chips and quickly wants to add RF capabilities to their application. However for someone that is already experience in low power RF design, the seminar will probably feel more like a Texas Instruments marketing session and be somewhat boring. Even if this is the case, TI’s products are good at focusing on power consumption and it might be worthwhile learning about them. Check out the Date and Times to see if you can make the seminar.
